Scavenging the array of links associated with Las Vegas on Wikipedia, I noticed that not much has been written about one of the most popular parks in town: Sunset Park.

All that was there before I contributed was two paragraphs. If any of you know more about the park or better yet, have resources that can be linked to, please contribute.

I chose Sunset Park because of its service to the community and its central location, 5 miles from the university and right next to McCarran Airport. It’s the perfect place to have a picnic, fish, feed angry geese and play all kinds of sports.

There’s also a lot of history there. Hopefully the wiki entry will start to document that.
